● Ford was bullied as a child, at times violently, for having six fingers.

● His brother was kicked out of the house by their unpleasable, emotionally distant father and left homeless at 17.

● Ford was emotionally manipulated into allowing a (sort of) demon to possess him and take control of his body.

● Said demon found the sensation of pain very amusing, and would inflict various injuries on Ford's body for kicks.

● The whole situation lead Ford to spiral into mental instability and intense paranoia. (He's better now.)

● Said demon also later tortured Ford for information, over what is implied to be a period of 2 or 3 days.
