[ Ford has absolutely no idea how to come to grips with being reassured by a woman much younger than him. At first he hadn't it by not handling it, setting aside the Fluid and electing to ignore it for several minutes.
But the longer he ignores it, the more he realizes he liked hearing it. He and Willow's relationship has following a strange track, but he does consider them friends now. It's more reassuring than he thought it might to hear her confirm that she's not intending to draw a line in the sand and side with Ozpin completely. ]
You don't need to worry, Willow. I'm not intending to drop out of contact someone just because I met them via Ozpin.
I agree that it's nice to know someone else that's interested in both science and magic.
