Character Base

• Character Name: Stanford Pines
• Age: 62 (turned 63 in Deerington)
• Canon (Date/Year Released)/Canon Point: Gravity Falls (2012 - 2016) | Post-series | Deerington CRAU
• Items Coming Along:
  1. HOUSE: His house from Deerington. Contains furniture, clothing, and various other belongings for himself, Stan, Mabel, and Dipper.
  2. ROBERT: A Litwick acquired during Deerington's September 2020 event.
  3. SHEAFFER: A 'gift' from Bill. A preying mantis that used to be a ballpoint pen.
  4. PINES COMPASS: A compass with four hands labeled Stanford, Stanley, Mabel, and Mason. Rather than pointing in a particular direction, each hand will point towards its respective Pines family member. If one of the four is dead or otherwise absent from Deerington, their respective hand will point towards the one holding the compass instead. At present, the compass only works when held by a member of the Pines family.
  5. AURA PIN: A gift from Ozpin. Contains a portion of Ozpin's Aura, which protects the wearer from intense heat or cold. Once per day, if the wearer is attacked, it activates to create a shimmering green forcefield, which may deflect a fatal blow.
  6. LASER PISTOL: Basic laser pistol, similar to blasters from Star Wars or phasers from Star Trek.
  7. MAGNET GUN: A gun that 'fires' magnetism instead of bullets and can lift a fully grown man clear off the ground and dozens of feet into the air. It can also emit an electromagnetic pulse that can disable robots, computers, security systems, and other electronics that aren't properly shielded against such things.
  8. INFINITY SIDED DICE: A die that will yield one of an infinite number of symbols when rolled.
  9. JOURNAL 3: One of three journals Ford wrote while in Gravity Falls. It catalogues the various entities, creatures, events, and strange effects he encountered in the town.
  10. DEERINGTON JOURNAL: A journal Ford kept while in Deerington. It catalogues the various entities, creatures, events, and strange effects he encountered in the town.
Content Warnings for Character: Bullying, parental abandonment/neglect, demonic possession, torture, trauma, abusive relationship dynamics

Chapter 2 Attributes

• Canon Powers: Yes, see below

• Blood Type: Darkblood

• Omen: Bat

• Blessed Day: June 15th

• Patron Pthumerian: Remina | Ford will resonate very strongly with Remina's attributes and ideals, particularly comprehension, education, the keeping of archives, and the preservation of knowledge. However, Ford has suffered significant trauma thanks to Bill, who was also a floating, extremely knowledgeable, one-eyed eldritch being that was also sometimes referred to as the all-seeing eye. He's going to be wary of Remina, approach her with extreme caution, and completely lose his shit the first time she dumps information into his brain without warning.

• Blood Power Manifestation: Complimentary | In canon, Ford is a relatively vanilla human that is nonetheless capable of creating, modifying, and learning to using both technological gadgets (such as a mind-control tie, an inter-dimensional portal, and a variety of energy weapons) and magic spells (such as spells that will protect an area from supernatural creatures, allow him to enter someone's mind, and raise the dead). Ford's Darkblood powers - particularly the reality-altering aspects - will be used to augment these preexisting skills, allowing him to create a wider variety of spells and gadgets at a greater degree of power. Unless shown otherwise in canon his spells will always require some sort of physical reagent (certain kinds of gems, hair from certain animals, blood, etc.); and the more time and effort his puts into preparing a spell the more potent it will be.

No matter how advanced his powers become, Ford will remain a primarily ritual- and artifact-based spell caster. Even if he can create a staff that shoots lightning, he'll still struggle to light a candle without at least chanting an incantation first. The exception to this will be the standard Darkblood powers of gravity and reality manipulation, which he will only be able to influence in minor ways (e.g.: making an object float in place, or making a space bigger than it actually is).
