Hello. I know you don't know me but a man named Xerxes Break told me you might be able to help.

He said that you do a lot of research into magic and related areas, and I'm wondering if you've ever heard of a device call an aetherometer? I'm looking for one to use in my research.

I can't say I've heard of an aetherometer, but can you explain what it does?

If I know what it's designed to detect, I may be able to replicate it.

It... measures aether. Specifically physical aether, the kind in the world all around us.

Without knowing how exactly it works it'll be hard to replicate exactly.

But there may be a way around that. Do you have a sample of aether I could examine? Or a way to generate it?

Well it's all around us, but I can channel different kinds of elemental aether in my attacks, yes.

I'm not sure how capturable they are, but I can at least show you.
